Overview
Our Self Adhesive Edging Tape is designed to provide a decorative finish to exposed edges on lightweight display boards and similar applications. This flexible, conformable paper-based tape is easy to apply by hand and features a strong, high-tack adhesive backing for excellent adhesion to various substrates. It includes a removable plastic liner, making it particularly effective on honeycomb core display boards where bonding surface areas are minimal.
Application and Usage
As this is a pressure-sensitive tape, it’s essential that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or debris before application. It is neither a glue nor a heat-activated product, so firm, even pressure is required during application to ensure a secure bond.
Common Questions
Can I use this tape for edging cupboards?
This product is not specifically designed for cupboard edges, but it may be suitable depending on the substrate. Chipboard or bare wood edges, which often contain dust or loose particles, are not ideal. Bonding to a pre-edged or sealed surface may improve results. Always test a sample before purchasing to ensure suitability.
Is the tape water-resistant?
This is a paper-based tape and is not water-resistant. We do not recommend using it in areas exposed to water, moisture, or liquids.
How is the product sold?
Please note that this product is only available in the box/size quantities listed below. We do not sell individual rolls.

Bespoke Colours and Sizes
Although we produce white and black as standard, we can manufacture this tape in up to 24 other colours on request, subject to minimum production quantities. We can also create rolls in custom widths. All rolls are presented in 25-metre lengths to ensure the best presentation and handling.
If needed, we can further customise the product by altering the face stock material or adhesive to suit your specific application.
